Meet Sara

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Sara, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master’s in Counseling from California State University, East Bay and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Southern California. I have extensive experience in inpatient settings, schools, and non-profit agencies.

How I work

The relationships that I build with my clients is at the heart of what I do. It is truly an honor and privilege to be let into your world and listen to your story.

Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and grounded in trust. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted as you are. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and compassion.

My approach is person-centered and adaptive. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, which is why I draw from several therapeutic modalities and tailor our work to fit your unique needs. My integrative style allows us to meet you where you are, whether that means exploring your past, developing new coping tools, or reconnecting with your sense of self. Throughout our work together, I’ll check in often, invite your feedback, and honor your pace. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, identity exploration, body image issues, or relationship challenges, I’m here to support you in moving toward clarity, growth, and a more connected version of yourself.

Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me soaking up the calm of the ocean or creating new latte recipes at home.
